Welcome to Altascapes. By signing our service agreement, receiving our services, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between Altascapes (\"Contractor\") and you, the Client.

1. Agreement Acceptance

You formally accept these terms by:

Executing the service document electronically or providing a physical signature.

Making a payment for services rendered on or after the effective date, even without a signature.

2. Payment Policies

Our payment structures depend on the type of service provided:

Recurring Services (Monthly Maintenance)

\nBilling: Services are billed on a standardized monthly basis.
\nDue Date: Payments are Due Upon Receipt of your monthly invoice.
\nLate Fees: Payments not received within 7 days will incur a fee of 5% of the outstanding balance or $35, whichever is greater.

One-Time Services (Mulching, Cleanups, etc.)

\nDeposits: Required no later than 72 hours before work or materials are furnished.

Jobs under $500: 50% deposit.

Jobs over $500: 25% deposit.

\nDue Date: Payment is due within 7 days of the scheduled start date and no later than 48 hours after completion.

\nLate Fees: Payments not received within 72 hours of completed work will incur a fee of 10% of the balance or $35, whichever is greater.

Note: If you expect to pay late, please contact us immediately; we are happy to work with you if notified before the bill is due.

3. Service Scope

Monthly Maintenance Includes:

Our standard monthly rate covers routine elements to maintain a healthy landscape within a standard service window:

Routine mowing and edging.
Blowing hardscapes (patios, walkways, driveways).
Light trimming, shaping, and pruning.
Weed control.
Light seasonal cleanup (normal leaf drop and routine growth manageable within a standard window using on-site green waste bins).

Exclusions:

Extensive seasonal cleanups, heavy debris removal, overgrown restoration, or large-volume haul-away services are not included in monthly maintenance. These will be quoted separately as One-Time Service Contracts.

4. Scheduling & Cancellations

Rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule.

\nFirst instance: No penalty for late notice.

\nSubsequent instances: A $50 rescheduling fee may be charged to cover lost labor time.

Cancellations

\nOne-Time Services: 48 hours' notice is required for a full deposit refund. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, we will refund labor deposits, but deposits for supplies/materials cannot be refunded.

\nRecurring Services: We require 7 days' written notice prior to the next billing date. Failure to provide this notice may result in being billed for the subsequent month.

Effective January 1, 2026. All pricing is subject to our stable Monthly Pricing Structure reflecting local operational costs and seasonal demands.
